August 2010 - The Over 17 Club will be holding their 3rd Annual Beef and Beer at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Warrington, PA on Friday, August 6, 2010, from 7 PM-11 PM. Tickets will be sold at the door and can be reserved ahead of time. They are $25 per person and include a catered buffet, drinks, DJ and dancing. Tickets for the basket auction will be sold at the door that night as well as tickets for a 50/50 raffle. The raffle tickets are also being sold in each of our buildings by Over 17 Club members if you would like to purchase them that way. July 2010 - The Over 17 Club will be live on the WMMR Preston and Steve show on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Tune in to 93.3 FM on your radio to listen or go to the WMMR web site to stream the morning show on your computer and listen live. Show your support for the Over 17 Club!
June 2010 - We are pleased to announce that we now have a contract with Health Partners and Aetna Better Health! These insurance policies are both managed medicaid products that we are looking forward to working with. Click here to see a full list of insurance companies and policies that we participate with.
May 2010 - On May 20, 2010, our Warrington facility hosted two workshops presented by Alden Geriatrics Educational Services (AGES). The topics included Avoidable vs. Unavoidable Pressure Ulcers and Nuts & Bolts: Managing Support Services in a Long-Term Care Setting. Nursing Home Administrators and Personal Care Administrators were able to receive 4 CEU's per course and RN's were able to receive 4 CEU's for the course on pressure ulcers. Our goal is to continue to have more of these courses for continuing education in the community.
April 2010 - We are proud do announce that we have recently hired a new clinical liaison. Sue Baker, RN, comes to us with an impressive clinical background and case management experience. We would like to welcome Sue to the team!
April 2010 - We are proud to announce that our over 17 club at Warrington had the opportunity to be interviewed by Natalie Pompilio, a reporter at the Philadelphia Daily News, on April 14, 2010, after winning the grand prize in the recent PHCA video contest. March 2010 - Fox Subacute at Clara Burke is pleased to announce that we have added two new physicians, who have recently been credentialed with us as attending physicians. We would like to welcome Dr. Roman, who specializes in Internal Medicine and Dr. Pearlstein, specializing in Geriatrics.
March 2010 - The over 17 club at Fox Subacute at Warrington won the grand prize for a video contest that the Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA) had to showcase long-term care facilities as a place to live and enjoy a quality of life. March 2010 - Fox Subacute at Warrington has added another physician consultant to our extensive list of medical consultants. Fox Subacute welcomes Dr. Morehouse as our new ENT.
February 2010 - Fox Subacute introduces Silver Chair to its employees. This is a new online in-service training tool that we have acquired to provide on-going education to our ventilator care staff.
January 2011 - Fox Subacute goes smoke free. To help our staff and family members kick the habit we would like to conduct a smoking cessation program in-house at each facility. This is a five week program and sign up sheets are posted at the time clocks and break areas of each building. Fox Subacute supports our staff and family members.
