Medical Rehabilitation
The Fox Subacute Medical Rehabilitation Department is recognized for its success in providing medical rehabilitation services to treat the complex subacute, mechanically-dependent ventilator patient. A main goal is to focus on the transition from the subacute care setting to the next level of care, ideally preparing the patient for ventilator weaning.
We seek to restore and maximize the functional skills that allow our residents to return to a more independent lifestyle, ideally preparing them for life back at home. We carefully select our team of professionals specializing in various areas of medical rehabilitation care. Some of our team members service the following disciplines: Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Language Pathology (SLP), and even Pet Therapy!
The Medical Rehabilitation team works together with all members of the multidisciplinary integrated patient care team to prepare, focus, and care for them based on the patient’s individualized treatment plan.
